Excerpts from White Paper on the KKT Technology

Prepared by Dr. Anne M. Flanagan

Dr. Anne Flanagan is a molecular biologist based out of Victoria, BC. She currently is working primarily with patent protection in biotechnological, agricultural, biomedical, chemical and mechanical sectors in Canada, the US and abroad.

“The KKT patent application pertaining to the apparatus was reviewed at the International phase of the PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) and the prior art searched.  The results of the search were rendered in the Written Opinion of the International Searching Authority, which then formed the basis for the International Preliminary Report on Patentability.”

“The KKTapparatus provides a quantum leap. Until the KKT apparatus was developed by Dr. Khan, devices that were used for so called “re-alignment” of the spine were relatively unsophisticated devices.”

“In other words, the KKT technology was not even contemplated prior to Dr. Khan inventing it.”

“Research data have demonstrated biomechanical evidence of KKT’s ability to realign the cervical spine, decrease pain and improve neck disability in patients with chronic pain. Further, the method of treatment has actively demonstrated potential for tissue regeneration, with the demonstrable positive effect of KKT on genes responsible for disc health.”

“A series of three papers has been submitted for publication.  The first in the series is in press and has therefore been reviewed by experts in the field to ensure that the work meets the standards of scientific rigour, accuracy of presentation in view of the state of the art, and advancement of the discipline.   In this paper, it is demonstrated for the first time that, expression of extracellular matrix genes is upregulated.  These genes are normally expressed in the nucleus pulposum of vertebral discs, therefore increased expression would be expected to correlate to tissue maintenance.  Other published articles by Dr. Khan and his team also conclude about the positive impact KKT has on both neck and lower back pain.”
