Whiplash
Whiplash is a soft tissue injury to the neck that usually results from sudden twisting, jerking or extension and flexion. This disorder commonly occurs as a result of an automobile accident or sudden jolt to the body and may include injury to vertebral joints, disks, ligaments, cervical muscles and nerve roots. Symptoms may be present directly after the injury or may be delayed for several days.
